Terms of Service

1. What iLive.Digital is

iLive.Digital ("the Service", "we") is a software platform that helps you capture, curate, and govern multimodal pieces of yourself — voice, writing, photos, memories — so they can be made available to people you choose, under conditions you set, in your lifetime and beyond. The platform is operated by the iLive.Digital team ("we", "us").

2. Your account

You may register using Google Sign-In or an email and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You must be 18 years or older to register. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it accurate over time.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you upload, record, or import — your memories, your voice, your photos, your messages. We act as a custodian on your behalf. We do not sell your content. We do not train foundation models on your content. We use it only to provide the Service and to execute the access rules you configure.

4. Subscription and billing

The Service offers a 7-day free trial followed by a recurring subscription. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds for the current period are not generally available, but we may issue them at our discretion if the Service fails to deliver core functionality.

5. Capsule release and executors

Sealed capsules are released only under the conditions you specify (recipient, release date, executor quorum, transition trigger). Eternal-seal capsules require both confirmed transition and a 30-day post-mortem lock. You are responsible for choosing executors who will act in good faith. We will not release capsules to anyone outside the conditions you set.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to impersonate another person without their explicit consent, to harass or defraud, to generate non-consensual synthetic media of any person other than yourself, or to violate the law of any jurisdiction where you or the recipient reside.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is scheduled 30 days out so you can cancel by mistake or recover from a stolen credential. After 30 days, we irreversibly purge every keyspace we own that contains your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that synthesized voice, generated text, or capsule delivery will be uninterrupted or error-free. You understand that AI-driven outputs are probabilistic and may not perfectly reflect your intent.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

We will give you advance notice (typically 30 days) of material changes to these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
